The emergency COVID 19 Lockdown was a preventive measure that disrupted the lives of students, parents and teachers. To cope up with this crisis, the education sector started conducting online classes. The present study aims at the attitude of teachers of West Bengal towards online teaching and learning during the period of COVID 19 pandemic along with their gender and location. The findings of the study concluded that there is no significant difference in attitude towards online teaching and learning in terms of Gender. The research findings also revealed that locality has significant effect on teachers’ attitude towards online teaching and learning.
