This study focuses on the application effect of English situational teaching in primary schools, and explores its practical role in improving students' language application ability, self-efficacy and learning interest. A total of 112 students in grades 4 and 5 of Taiyuan Experimental Primary School were selected as the research subjects, and data were collected and analyzed using multiple methods such as classroom observation, questionnaire survey, teacher interview and achievement evaluation. The study found that situational teaching significantly improved students' classroom participation and language output ability, and teacher feedback also showed that it had a positive impact on classroom atmosphere and teaching effectiveness. This study provides theoretical support and practical paths for the reform of primary school English teaching.
