With the rapid evolution of web technologies and the increasing reliance on web applications, the security of backend systems has become a critical concern.Java Spring Boot, a popular framework for developing enterprise-level applications, provides several built-in security features. However, the growing sophistication of cyber threats necessitates adopting more advanced and comprehensive security measures. This paper presents a detailed framework for enhancing the security of Java Spring Boot applications. The proposed framework integrates modern security frameworks such as OAuth2 and JWT, employs advanced encryption techniques like AES and RSA, and incorporates continuous vulnerability scanning using tools like OWASP ZAP and SonarQube.Through a series of experiments and comparative analyses, the paper demonstrates the effectiveness of these enhancements in mitigating common security threats, such as unauthorized access, data breaches, and code injection attacks. The findings suggest that the proposed framework significantly strengthens the security posture of Spring Boot applications, providing a robust defense against a wide range of cyber threats.
