This work proposes a conceptual model in which spacetime is composed of fundamental one-dimensional “threads” stitched together on the quantum scale. Vibrational excitations along these threads generate quantum fields, while collective distortions of the network produce gravitational dynamics. Quantum decoherence arises naturally from interactions between localized excitations and the surrounding thread fabric. Apparent faster-than-light correlations occur through local thread dynamics, while macroscopic causal behavior respects the cosmological speed limit established by the stitching network. Unlike string theory, this model does not require extra spatial dimensions and reproduces standard quantum field theory in flat spacetime. Deviations may appear in curved regions, offering potential experimental tests.
