Indigenous communities possess the traditional knowledge and practices that have sustained ecosystems for centuries. This study highlights the importance of integrating indigenous knowledge into modern sustainability frameworks. We explored how indigenous practices, such as agroforestry, permaculture, and spiritual conservation, promote biodiversity, efficient resource use, and climate resilience. This research demonstrates that indigenous knowledge offers valuable insights into sustainable natural resource management, climate-change mitigation, and cultural preservation. Recognizing and supporting indigenous rights and knowledge systems is crucial for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By adopting indigenous perspectives and practices, innovative solutions for environmental sustainability, social justice, and human well- being can be created. By embracing indigenous perspectives, we can protect the environment, culture, and biodiversity. This study explores the importance of indigenous knowledge in shaping a sustainable and equitable future.
