Reconfigurable Photonics This work demonstrates an electrically switchable liquid crystal Fresnel lens enabling dynamic control of optical vortex phase topology. The device allows real-time detection of topological charge and vortex stability through voltage-tuned birefringence, offering a compact, low-power platform for reconfigurable singular-beam photonics and next-generation vortex-based optical communication technologies. More details can be found in the Research Article by Alina Karabchevsky and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/adom.202502277).
