Digital inclusion in rural South Africa is a critical issue due to significant digital divide gaps. A scoping review approach was employed using databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar. The review identified a mixed proportion of community-led initiatives (35%) and government-supported programmes (20%). Rural communities in South Africa require tailored digital inclusion strategies to bridge the gap effectively. Tailored community engagement and targeted policy interventions are recommended for future research. digital inclusion, rural South Africa, scoping review, community-led initiatives, government-supported programmes Model estimation used =argmin_ᵢ (yᵢ, f_ (xᵢ) ) +₂², with performance evaluated using out-of-sample error.
