Abstract

Abstract Using a large U.S. hospital database, we described 13,177 candidemia-associated hospitalizations during 2016–2024. In 2024, Candida glabrata surpassed C. albicans, and C. auris, previously rare, ranked fifth. These findings underscore the importance of ongoing surveillance and adherence to guidelines for candidemia treatment and testing.
