A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with semi-structured questionnaires to gather data from stakeholders including healthcare providers, patients, and policymakers. Traditional medicine is widely practiced across different regions of Ghana, with approximately 80% of the population seeking traditional health services at least once a year. The study highlights the importance of integrating traditional medicine into modern healthcare systems to improve access and ensure holistic care for all Ghanaians. Ghanaian policymakers should consider developing policies that promote safe, effective, and sustainable integration of traditional medicine with modern healthcare practices.
