This paper presents the results of experimental studies on solid-section pine wood prisms subjected to axial compression along the fibres under different impregnation conditions. Using experimental and statistical methods, changes in the modulus of elasticity and the secant modulus of deformation are determined for pine wood with varying impregnation times. Diagrams of the modulus of elasticity are constructed for solid pine wood under short-term loading at different levels of water saturation. The main parameters and statistical characteristics of the regression correlation equations are presented. It is found that both the modulus of elasticity and the modulus of deformation decrease as a result of water saturation of the wood specimens up to 30%. Statistical processing of the experimental results is performed to ensure reliability.
