In recent years, people have increasingly emphasized the application of wearable health monitoring devices in daily life, with particular attention being paid to areas related to emergency response and personal safety. To jewellery design professionals, integrating smart sensing technology with the presentation form of wearable devices provides a new direction for expanding the functions of accessories beyond mere decorative purposes. This paper mainly focuses on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance wearable devices, in order to support the ability to conduct real-time health monitoring and issue emergency alerts. Specifically, the paper is focused on the application of AI in wearable health monitoring systems and mainly outlines the mainstream technologies related to emergency response, including the use of AI for physiological signal analysis, intelligent sensing systems based on machine learning, as well as material design and interaction research. Then this article discusses how these technologies can be applied to small accessories such as jewellery designs and analysed their feasibility, including accuracy, comfort, and ethical issues, in emergency response jewellery designs, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of current technologies in data collection, model building, and system integration. Finally, this paper summarizes and outlines the future development directions in the fields of intelligent materials, multimodal perception, and interdisciplinary collaboration for personalized human-computer interaction design.
