Abstract

This talk was delivered by me (Aiden Boyer) as an invited seminar at KU Leuven on February 20th, 2026. This talk addressed precursor experiments that would need to be done to calibrate the "new physics sensitivity" of Protactinium-229, including our own group's experiments but also addressing the need for experimental validation of the intrinsic shape of 229Pa's nucleus. The talk was 25 minutes in length with 5 minutes for questions.
