Distance learning through Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) has grown significantly in the educational scenario, transforming the traditional dynamics of teaching and learning. The Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19), which began in 2020, has driven drastic changes in education, forcing institutions such as the State University of Pará to adopt remote teaching to ensure the continuity of academic activities. This study aims to analyze the perceptionof academics about the quality of remote teaching during the pandemic. The research addresses the necessary adaptations, including the use of video classes and digital platforms, highlighting challenges and benefits perceived by students in this new emergency educational model
