Anti-Counterfeiting and Information Encryption In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202514522), Guanjun Xiao and co-workers firstly achieved a reversibly operable photoluminescence on-off switch activated by external pressure in metal halide Cs3MnBr5 nanocrystals. The triggered pressure is as low as 0.43 GPa that can be easily accessible through manual squeeze. This work represents a significant breakthrough to intelligent materials for application in anti-counterfeiting, pressure alarm, and information encryption.
