Abstract– The technological singularity is a theoretical concept describing a point where technological advancement, particularly in artificial intelligence, potentially reaches a pace that is no longer manageable or predictable by human intelligence. This hypothesis suggests that if a machine were to achieve the ability to improve its own design, it could initiate a cycle of rapid self-evolution, often referred to as an intelligence explosion. Such a transition would represent a significant shift in human history, leading to outcomes that may be difficult to foresee with current knowledge. While the idea remains a subject of debate among researchers, it serves as a framework for exploring the future relationship between biological and artificial systems.
