Abstract Mobile devices have evolved from simple communication tools into powerful platforms for accessibility and inclusion. Based on personal experience as a late-deafened adult with extensive technical knowledge and lived experiences, the current mobile accessibility landscape for adolescents who are deaf or hard of hearing is reviewed. There is an emphasis on iOS and Android ecosystems, third-party apps, and emerging technologies. Practical applications for audiologists, educators, and rehabilitation professionals are discussed, alongside strategies to integrate mobile accessibility into clinical and educational practice, fostering independence, safety, and self-advocacy.
