Russian legislation in the field of youth policy: history of development, problems, tasks

In current conditions, youth policy is the most important component of the state's activity. Its implementation provides the state with its long-term orientation and conflict-free development, helps smooth out intergenerational differences, ensures social stability, and supports national security. Youth policy aimed at realizing the constitutional rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of young people in all spheres of public life provides opportunities for successful socialization and effective self-realization of young people. The methodological approach developed by the legislation in the sphere of implementation of youth policy contributes to the adequacy of decisions taken on the basis of interaction with stakeholders and factual data obtained through mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of youth policy, including monitoring the effectiveness of patriotic and spiritual-moral education of youth in the Russian Federation.
