ABSTRACT This article provides an overview of the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) community, focusing on historical, cultural, and social realities which shape NHPI student experiences. Authors review existing research on NHPI students, highlight curricular and co‐curricular activities targeting NHPI student success, and conclude by offering strategies that educators may consider to support NHPI students.
