Bioecological aspects of Pseudautomeris luteata (Walker, 1865) were investigated in the province of Misiones, with the first record of Belvosia sp. parasitizing the pupae and Solanum granulosoleprosum Dunal, as a nutritional plant for the species. Additionally, an update on the distribution of P. luteata in South America is provided, contributing valuable information for the establishment of conservation and control strategies for medically or agronomically important species.
