Optimizing mature oocyte yield in IVF: clinical comparison of r-hFSH+r-hLH and HMG in women with a stimulation dosage of at least 300 IU of gonadotropins
Key Points
Higher mature oocyte count is achieved with r-hFSH+r-hLH compared to HMG, indicating better IVF success.
Significantly more euploid blastocysts are produced using r-hFSH+r-hLH, enhancing potential for healthy pregnancies.
Analysis focuses on women with a stimulation dosage of at least 300 IU of gonadotropins, ensuring a relevant population.
Findings suggest r-hFSH+r-hLH may be a better choice for women undergoing fertility treatments, emphasizing the need for optimized protocols.
Abstract
The use of r-hFSH+r-hLH is associated with a significantly higher mature oocyte and euploid blastocyst count compared to HMG and the effect was most pronounced in women with normal ovarian reserve.
