Gomisin B promotes RSL3-induced ferroptosis in neuroblastoma by inhibiting the ESR1/USP7/SREBF1 axis
Key Points
This research investigates how gomisin B affects ferroptosis in neuroblastoma by targeting specific molecular pathways.
Studied the impact of gomisin B on neuroblastoma cells
Analyzed transcriptional activation of USP7
Examined the deubiquitination process of SREBF1
Gomisin B downregulated ESR1 levels
Inhibition of USP7 was observed
SREBF1 deubiquitination was suppressed, leading to increased ferroptosis
Abstract
Gomisin B inhibited the transcriptional activation of USP7 by downregulating ESR1, thereby suppressing the deubiquitination of SREBF1. This enhanced NB ferroptosis to alleviate NB progression.
