This study investigated the association between nutrition education experience and health behaviors, metabolic markers, and dietary quality in Korean adults aged ≥65 years using KNHANES 8th period data (2019-2021). A total of 4,479 older adults were analyzed using Rao-Scott Chi-square tests and Complex Sample GLM to compare the education experience group with the non-experience group. The experience group showed significantly higher physical activity participation rates, lower sedentary behavior, higher smoking cessation rates, and better metabolic markers including fasting glucose, cholesterol, HbA1c, and triglycerides. Dietary patterns were superior with lower breakfast skipping rates and better control of sodium, sugar, and fat intake. However, despite higher weight loss motivation, actual goal achievement was paradoxically lower. This study demonstrated significant positive associations between nutrition education experience and health behaviors, metabolic markers, and dietary quality in the elderly. Future elderly nutrition education policies should employ individualized approaches incorporating integrated management with physical activity, enhanced behavioral implementation, and comprehensive support for vulnerable populations.
