Abstract One of the most pivotal challenges faced by the ultramodern world moment is environmental pollution performing from ever- growing urbanization, deforestation, and industrialization. Different adulterants, like diseases, poisonous colorings, heavy essence, inorganic and organic composites and artificial backwaters, affect all major environmental factors, including water, soil, and air. Several strategies like adsorption, filtration, aerobic/ anaerobic digestion, coagulation, natural pollutants, actuated sludge, chemical rush, photocatalysis, and advanced oxidation processes with different strategies are being delved for the requital of these pollutants from the terrain. Nanotechnology- grounded ways have been reported to be more effective and effective in environmental remediation. Research into physical and natural chemistry revision by masterminds and scientists to produce new accoutrements with asked morphology that can exclude a variety of environmentally dangerous adulterants is still ongoing. These accoutrements aim to use minimum energy, reduce cost, and achieve optimal performance. For effective environmental remediation, acceptable care is demanded to avoid using accoutrements that produce secondary or intermediate adulterants. This has led to the wide use of nanomaterials deduced from sustainable and biodegradable sources as an effective environmental remediation in the field of nanoscience. Through incubating exploration, diving safety enterprises, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, nanotechnology will come a crucial asset in restoring our earth to its natural state so that all unborn life may flourish.
