Abstract Lok‑Chi Chan and Kuei‑Chen Chen are right that we need to find versions of naturalism and of phenomenology that can live together. They are also right that the indexicality of phenomenology does not reveal that naturalism is incomplete, but do not detail why this is the case. I offer the needed detail.
