MINERVA v0.3: A Unified Quantum Mechanism for Conscious Experience via Microtubule Phonon Driving and Ephaptic Field Coupling

We present MINERVA v0. 3 (Microtubule-Integrated Neural Resonance via Vibrational Architecture), a mechanistic hypothesis for quantum consciousness that resolves the central failure of Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch OR): the requirement for millisecond-scale quantum coherence in warm biological systems. We propose that GTP hydrolysis at microtubule plus-ends generates acoustic phonon waves propagating through MAP-protein-decorated lattice bodies, creating standing wave nodes that trigger Objective Reduction events coupled via endogenous ephaptic electromagnetic fields.
