Abstract In the distribution network connected to photovoltaics, real-time control of reactive voltage is mainly achieved by adjusting reactive power compensation devices. During peak load periods, there may be issues with power factor exceeding limits. The use of photovoltaic inverters can solve this problem by pre-identifying system parameters online and providing accurate values of reactive power deficit. Based on this, this article proposes an adaptive coordinated control method for reactive power and voltage in low-voltage distribution networks, which coordinates the control of reactive power compensation devices and photovoltaic inverters. Through simulation of a typical photovoltaic connected low-voltage distribution network, it has been verified that this control method can reduce voltage fluctuations, improve power factor, and reduce network active power losses.
