First record of the genus Neomida Latreille, 1829 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) for Kazakhstan

Abstract

Darkling beetle Neomida haemorrhoidalis (Fabricius, 1787) of the family Tenebrionidae is firstly recorded from Kazakhstan. The trophic links of N. haemorrhoidalis with bare-toothed russula Russula vesca Fr. and blushing bolete Leccinum scabrum (Bull.) Gray are recorded from Kazakhstan also.
