This study focused on institutional support and use of open access resources by undergraduates. The descriptive survey research design of the correlational type was used for this study. A two-stage sampling technique was used to obtain a sample size of 244 out of 18,513 undergraduates of the university. Data were collected through questionnaire which was administered manually and analysed using descriptive statistics, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation at 0.05 level of significance. Open access databases and open access journals is the most used open access resources by the undergraduates (????̅ =3.64 and 3.61 respectively) while the main purpose for the use of the resources is for complementing class notes (????̅ =3.43). The level of IS towards use of OARs by the undergraduates is also high at a grand mean of 34.4 against a threshold of 48.0. A weak and positive relationship was found between institutional support and use of open access resources (r=.225). With OARs, the information needs of undergraduates can be met, it is necessary for to make these resources available to the students. It was recommended that authorities of universities should ensure that institutional support is provided to the students towards the use of the resources.
