ABSTRACT Considering the beta‐3 adrenoceptor agonist, mirabegron, may display vasodilator and cardioprotective properties, we investigated the therapeutic potential of mirabegron in monocrotaline‐induced pulmonary hypertension in rats. High‐dose mirabegron improved right ventricular function, and endothelium‐dependent relaxation in isolated rat pulmonary arteries, suggesting that mirabegron may be beneficial in pulmonary arterial hypertension.
