Modern education has entered the era of digital transformation, within the framework of which information and communication technologies are actively introduced at all levels of the educational process. This article examines the methodological foundations for selecting and using electronic educational materials intended for primary school mathematics teachers. One of the main difficulties that teachers face in the modern educational environment is the selection of technological resources in accordance with pedagogical goals. The article systematizes and substantiates the criteria for selecting electronic educational materials (compliance with the curriculum, technical quality, interactivity, impact on the assimilation of material, etc.). At the same time, practical recommendations are given for their effective use in the educational process. As a result of the study, it was found that correctly selected and purposefully used electronic educational tools have a significant impact on the formation of students’ mathematical knowledge and increasing their motivation.
