We present a symmetry-grounded, luminal dark-energy construction designed to survivepost-GW170817 constraints on the gravitational-wave speed. The model is formulated in acompile-time style, where theoretical consistency conditions are treated as explicit gates suchas shift symmetry, luminality, and stability of scalar and tensor perturbations. We providethe background equations, the linearized dynamics relevant for large-scale structure, and amap to standard effective-field-theory-of-dark-energy parameters, emphasizing what is fixedstructurally versus what remains free for data-driven inference.
