Floods and cyclones are recurring disasters in the coastal regions of Bangladesh, severely impacting livelihoods, health, and infrastructure. This study investigates the role of NGOs and local resilience strategies in Koyra Upazila, Khulna. Data were collected through structured interviews and surveys with 20 flood-affected households. Findings reveal that while emergency humanitarian assistance is essential, long-term community resilience is significantly strengthened through local preparedness, adaptive livelihood strategies, and community-led initiatives. The study highlights the importance of integrating community-based adaptation practices into national disaster management and climate resilience policies.
