Real-world asset tokenization (RWA) maps pre-existing off-chain assets and their ownership or cash-flow rights onto on-chain representations, with core difficulties concentrated in off-chain title, custody, and enforceability. This paper proposes an alternative paradigm—Contribution-Generated Assets (CGA)—in which assets do not pre-exist but are continuously generated from verifiable contributions within a platform economy. The trust anchor of CGA is not external collateral, but a combination of hard budget constraints, auditable profit and budget accounting, and recomputable settlement with challenge windows and rollback. Under the mechanism framework of equity dilution and issuance participation gaps, CGA institutionalizes participation in the creation of incremental productive claims as auditable and falsifiable variables: eligibility to generate claims may be opened to contributors, but must remain constrained by hard budgets and audit-executable settlement. To address the practical tension that builder investment, long-horizon R&D, and public responsibilities are difficult to verify on a per-transaction basis, the paper introduces a Budget Guardrails Axiom (CGA-A2’), replacing cross-industry “optimal split” assumptions with constitutional caps, versioned commitments, timelocks, and trigger-based contraction or freezing. At the engineering level, CGA does not conceptually require blockchain, but blockchain substantially lowers enforcement and reconciliation costs and serves as a best-fit execution layer under low-trust assumptions for implementing guardrails, non-retroactive finality, and automatic consequences. The paper provides an exclusive definition of CGA and a clear paradigm boundary against RWA, a set of implementable axioms (CGA-A1–A5, including A1’, A2’, and A3b) and a hard-budget proposition (CGA-P1), a taxonomy with three core tables, a Minimum Verifiable Dataset (MVD/MVD+) and audit triggers, a minimal auditable statement and a one-period recomputation example, four falsifiable hypotheses with an empirical roadmap, and a minimal reproducibility loop (ReproPack). Together with ABUE, the Wealth Flywheel macro model, and Proof of Contribution (POC), CGA forms a coherent research and engineering path from distribution-structure reconstruction to a closed loop of contribution, asset generation, and consensus.
