The study analyzes modern methods of personnel motivation and leadership development in the United States of America and the Russian Federation. The purpose of the work is to identify modern practices of American companies (development of mindfulness, formation of psychological safety, introduction of gamification elements and emphasis on mental health) and assess their applicability in the Russian context. The methodological basis is a systematic review of specialized scientific publications and statistical data. The results of the analysis showed a clear imbalance in the priorities of HR systems: while American organizations consistently invest in human-centric technologies, Russian practice is characterized by underdevelopment of an inclusive environment and insufficient attention to non-monetary incentives for motivation. The scientific contribution of the study is to propose a conceptual model for adapting modern motivational strategies to the specifics of the Russian business space, taking into account socio-cultural and institutional barriers. The author's hypothesis is that direct copying of American motivational strategies in Russian practice is ineffective due to significant differences in organizational cultures, level of inclusiveness and perception of the role of leadership. The information reflected in the article will be of interest to HR specialists, top and middle managers, as well as other researchers engaged in research in the field of personnel management and organizational behavior.
