ABSTRACT Actinidia eriantha Benth. (Actinidiaceae), a species previously known from China, is here recorded for the first time from India, based on collections made from the Ziro Valley, Lower Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh. Detailed morphological descriptions, habitat characteristics, and field photographs are provided. This discovery extends the known geographical range of the species westward into the Eastern Himalaya and contributes new information to the floristic diversity of India.
