The purpose of this article is to investigate the effect of the physical work environment onemployee performance in the Real estate sector of Delhi NCR. It is the second-highest employmentsector after the agriculture sector. Organizations give their attention to increasing employeeperformance. An important role is played by the work environment. “Work environment” is to bestudied as ‘Physical work environment’ and “Employee performance” as ‘Task and ContextualPerformance’. This study is based on a quantitative approach. A structured questionnaire was used tocollect primary data through survey methods. More than 500 employees of the real estate sector werecontacted, and a total of 452 responses were received. After data cleaning, 423 responses were foundsuitable for the study. Data were analysed by using SPSS and AMOS 22. ‘P’ values of all fourhypotheses are less than 0.05 which shows a positive and significant relationship between theconstructs.
