Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Mittelpunkt des Artikels steht eine Bronzegussform, die in der Nähe von Ringsted in Ostdänemark entdeckt wurde. Die Form wurde zum Gießen von silbernen Riemenzungen vom Typ Raddatz O15 verwendet und lässt sich in die Römische Kaiserzeit datieren. Nach einer Vorstellung der Gussform folgt ein kurzer Überblick über Kupferlegierungsgußformen aus der Römischen Kaiserzeit auf der Grundlage einer umfassenden Sichtung von archäologischer Fachliteratur. Im Anschluss folgt eine Erörterung zur Funktion der Ringsted-Form. Gegen Ende des Artikels wird eine Untersuchung der Riemenzungen vom Typ Raddatz O15 vorgestellt.
