This research aims to investigate how metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) affects acute coronary syndrome patterns and treatment.
Analyzed occurrence of STEMI and NSTEMI in patients with MASLD.
Examined incidence of coronary artery occlusion in individuals with hepatic fibrosis.
Evaluated need for cardiac interventions among MASLD patients.
Higher frequency of STEMI and NSTEMI was noted among MASLD patients.
MASLD patients with hepatic fibrosis experienced more occludable coronary arteries.
Increased cardiac interventions were required for this population.
Abstract
STEMI and NSTEMI were frequent in MASLD. People with MASLD and hepatic fibrosis had more incidence of occlusion of multiple coronary arteries and needed cardiac intervention.
