EVI Technical Appendix v1.8 — Constraint-Based Framework Extension

This Technical Appendix is a companion document to EVI v1. It represents the first public release of the appendix, corresponding to version 1.8, which reflects an internally developed and stabilized framework prior to publication. The document does not modify, correct, or supersede the original EVI paper. Instead, it provides a detailed formalization of the constraint hierarchy, thresholds, and boundary conditions that are implicit in EVI v1. The focus of this appendix is purely structural and conceptual: it describes a trajectory of physical constraints rather than a temporal evolutionary process, and it deliberately avoids proposing specific chemical mechanisms or biological models. The canonical framework is explicitly closed at the level of situated memory (G5), while a liminal pre-biological constraint (G6) is discussed as an open conceptual boundary without being incorporated into the canonical structure.
