Agency as Solidarity in a Time of Backlash

Abstract: If the baseline of feminist work is to continuously question, to share knowledge, to seek out different voices and perspectives, and to reassess what we recognize as scholarship, as knowledge, and even what "things" we might study, how does this constant humility and re-evaluation survive a time of not simply precarity but explicit attack? The Women's Caucus's history of holding space for such encounters and questioning, connecting scholar-teachers and administrators across institutional contexts speaks to solidarity as a condition of feminist practice.
