The article defines the necessity, theoretical and practical significance of studying interfaith conflicts in the legal education system. It is noted that the existing challenges of society and the state require professional lawyers to have special knowledge in the field of interfaith relations. This determines the need to form a comprehensive discipline that includes formal legal, cultural, religious, and conflictological components to develop skills for resolving confessional conflicts. The specifics of the training course are determined by the nature of the conflict situations being studied, where one of the subjects is a religious organization. It is concluded that the discipline "Legal aspects of confessional conflicts" can significantly contribute to combating extremism and religious hatred in society and building a dialogue between religious organizations and the state.
