The World Health Organization (WHO), in its Guidance for Best Practices for Clinical Trials, recently emphasized the adoption of Core Outcome Set (COS) to promote standardization and transparency in trial reporting. A core outcome domain set (CODS) is a crucial first step before developing a COS, as it defines the key areas/domains that should be measured. Despite previous attempts, CODS/COS for vitiligo clinical trials are still not widely used. To explore barriers and facilitators to implementing the vitiligo CODS, we conducted two complementary surveys. The first targeted corresponding authors of vitiligo RCTs and the second survey invited Editors-in-Chief (EiC)of five leading dermatological journals.
