This research aims to evaluate the prognostic value of neuroimmune biomarkers in AECOPD and establish a dual-axis risk model.
Analyzed serum levels of BDNF, PD-1, and MMP-9 in patients with AECOPD.
Developed a dual-axis risk model based on biomarker levels.
Assessed prognostic accuracy of the model compared to traditional methods.
The dual-axis model demonstrated improved prognostic accuracy for recovery outcomes.
Higher serum levels of BDNF were associated with better recovery in AECOPD patients.
PD-1 and MMP-9 levels provided additional risk stratification.
Abstract
Neuroimmune biomarkers capture recovery heterogeneity in AECOPD. The proposed dual-axis model improves prognostic accuracy and may inform personalized management strategies.
