A greater proportion of participants undergoing hepatocellular carcinoma screening had excellent MRI scan quality compared with US image quality, but quality was adversely affected by obesity (both modalities at univariate analysis only) and Child-Pugh score (for MRI at univariable and multivariable analysis).
