Indonesia stands at a critical economic juncture, transitioning from a raw material extractive model to a vertically integrated industrial manufacturing ecosystem. This paradigm shift is anchored by the establishment of Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara), a sovereign super-holding designed to consolidate strategic state assets and accelerate national downstreaming agendas. In February 2026, the administration formally designated six priority downstream projects with an initial capital injection of US 6 billion (Rp 101. 05 trillion). Aligned with President Prabowo Subianto’s 'Asta Cita' vision, these initiatives transcend mere value-addition objectives, serving as fundamental pillars for national energy and food sovereignty. This study provides a comprehensive technical, techno-economic, and geopolitical evaluation of these strategic projects, forecasting their transformative impact on Indonesia's industrial landscape through 2030.
