Abstract This article aims to clarify the question of exactly when Queen Dondogdulam (1874–1923), the wife of the Bogda Khan (the last Emperor of Mongolia), passed away and how her remains were interred. This study utilizes documents from the National Central Archive of Mongolia, results from archaeological excavations, and some oral historical sources.
