The work provides a methodology for teaching the topic of quantities (length, time, mass and capacity, area and perimeter, etc.), which is one of the main topics in primary school. Recommendations are given for teaching and learning each quantity. Recommendations are given on the history of quantities used by the ancient Kyrgyz people and their use in practice. The results of research with numbers in experimental studies are quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed. 56 ИТЭИ.
