Introduction: Tattoos are created by injecting pigments into the dermis. This causes an acute inflammatory reaction; pigments are actively and passively transported to regional lymph nodes which then display macro- and microscopic changes indicating reactivity and deposition of pigment. 1 Tattoo pigment in lymph nodes may cause clinical and radiological changes that mimic malignancy.
