Abstract

Introduction: The diagnosis of partial (PHM) and complete (CHM) hydatidiform mole on morphology alone can be challenging. 1,2 Previous studies have validated in situ hybridisation techniques in diagnosing molar pregnancies. We had previously validated the use of Chromosome 17-ish (CH17-ish) based assay in determining ploidy status in products of gestation (POC) in our laboratory. Here, we audited the clinical accuracy of this test in our department.
