In comparison with Kominkan, this study analyzes the operations and activities of community centers transitioned from Kominkan to identify their actual situation and challenges. We examined the impact of the transition on the management structure and activities of community centers and proposed strategies for operating facilities that contribute to community development. As a result, it was found that the community centers transitioned from Kominkan are now expected to take on a broader range of roles, with increased provision of activities and learning opportunities, serving as a hub for community building.
